Policies & Information
- Venue Capacity is 121 at all times. Each performance has eighty-three (83) tickets available. The remaining occupancy is reserved for performers, staff, and administrators to safely operate each performance.
-No refunds or cancellations.
-To reschedule, call at least one business day in advance. In the event of an emergency, the box office may choose to make an exception. If an exception is granted, an $5 date change fee will apply.
-The Empress is not responsible for missed shows.
-Evening performances begin at 7:30. Matinees begin at 2:00. Doors open 30 minutes prior.
-Latecomers will be seated at the discretion of the management.
-Please park only on Paved surfaces. The Empress Theatre and OHPAA are not responsible for towed cars. Pay attention to the signage.
-No outside food or drink.
-All seats are reserved.
-Please turn off all cell phones and pagers.
-The use of cameras, recording devices, cellular phones, radios, and pagers is strictly prohibited.
-Please put your smart watch in theatre mode.
-Please do not talk to your neighbor during the show.
-Restrooms are located in the lobby.
-At the end of the performance, exit through the theatre lobby.
-When you leave the theater, please remember our sleeping neighbors.
-If the Theater cancels an individual performance, the ticket holder may either (1) reschedule, (2) donate the tickets, (3) receive a gift certificate in the value of the tickets. There will not be any refunds.
