When I was in elementary school I fell in love with the way Road Dahl told stories. I gasped when the boys turned to mice in The Witches, I Smiled when I met Ms. Honey in Matilda, I remember being in awe for the entirety of The BFG and, I cried when Charlie's life was changed at the end of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I firmly believe each play we watch or participate in should sharpen our ability to recognize the stories and their meanings we are telling.
James and the Giant Peach is a wonderful story about finding the strength within yourself to keep going. It's about finding the light within yourself to make a room glow. This production has a lot of space for everyone involved to learn and grow. To find the light inside of themselves and share it with the world.
We have put together a wonderful team of expert teachers to bring this production to life. I can't wait to get this project started. We would be thrilled to have your kids as our students this summer! The program dates are as follows:
Registration - Opens April 1st, 2022
Program Dates - June 20th, 2022 through July 8th, 2022
Performance Dates - July 8th through July 16th, 2022.
Information regarding scheduling and conflicts is forthcoming from the production team. I'll tell you parents and caregivers the same thing I tell everyone though. Let the production team decide what they are willing to work with. You'd be surprised how many mountains will be moved to give your kids opportunities.
